Hose Reels

The Firenor firewater hose reel is a high quality quick-response piece of equipment ideal for manual fighting of small fires and for protection of personnel during evacuation. In order to ensure optimal protection of personnel, this equipment is typically used in locations like utility areas, open deck areas, living quarters and other low risk areas where personnel are likely to be present.

SYSTEM DESIGN

Built for versatility of mounting, the Firenor hose reel can be mounted on the floor or wall. For optimal protection, hose reels should be placed so that any location can be reached from two separate firewater hose reels.

Each hose reel consists of an appropriate length hose and a nozzle that releases water at a specified flow. The nozzle of the hose reel can be easily opened or closed and can be adjusted to fog or jet spray, proving versatile and optimal fire suppression. For hose reels that are supplied by a high pressure fluctuation water source, a regulating valve can be installed to avoid high reaction forces during operation of the hose reel. This versatile equipment can also extinguish a pool fire by mixing foam in the water at a specified flow, should the need arise.

The Firenor firewater hose reel can be customized to meet specific project requirements when the standard design will not suffice. As part of this customization, the Firenor hose reel can be stored in a variety of different frames, including an open frame or inside a cabinet for environmental protection purposes. Furthermore, the cabinet can be expanded beyond standard size in order to accommodate the storage of fire extinguishers and first aid kits.

VERIFICATION
